About the Event
Family concerts are the perfect introduction to classical music for children, ages 5 and up, and their families. Led by the BSO’s Assistant Conductor Jonathan Rush, these fun and educational 50-minute concerts will captivate a child’s imagination with a blend of classical and popular music.
New this year, the BSO Family Concerts will adopt a more relaxed atmosphere to welcome children on the Autism Spectrum and their families. With cool down areas for viewing the concert, children affected by sensory anxiety can better enjoy the live concert experience. Note that a virtual concert experience will not be available for our Family series performances.
